Shoppers like to use listing “portals” to find homes for sale, especially on mobile devices. Several of the big ones are Realtor.com, Zillow, and Trulia. Only Realtor.com gets a direct feed from our MLS, so you can be sure the homes around here that show as “listed for sale” really are for sale. Realtor.com is highlighting their higher accuracy as a feature to differentiate themselves with this cute commercial:
Consumers like the Zillow and Trulia portals and apps. While Realtor.com used to be the most viewed portal for many years, I think Zillow may be currently in the lead for eyeballs. But it’s true, I sometimes get calls for homes listed on Zillow that are not actually for sale. Realtor.com is not far behind in popularity, and is obviously planning on catching up with commercials like the one above.
We pay extra to have The Address Realty listings featured on Realtor.com as “Showcase” listings. That adds some visibility for our sellers on the web’s most accurate portal. Just one more thing we do for our clients as a full service brokerage.
PS. We do make sure all our listings are posted on Zillow, Trulia, and even Craigslist, all for maximum exposure.
