Still, we definitely feel it out here in the streets, where the tight housing market is proving challenging for home buyers. The local housing marketplace has begun to dig itself out, and things are looking brighter every day.

It was really pleasing to see tradesmen at work at the new Buckeye Pines subdivision.
Located on the way to Lake Shasta on Lake Boulevard, the original project was started years ago, but stalled in the housing value decline. A decline now seemingly over with. The past several years have seen little new local construction. It’s a good feeling to see local builders at work again.
New homes are so much more energy efficient and well built than older homes. It can really pay off over the long term.

Yesterday we listed 662 Joaquin Ave Redding CA 96002 for sale. Its a classic Redding ’60s ranch style home that was quite upscale for the times. It’s had some updating, but retains its mid-century hipster vibe. We shot a tour video, and it does a good job of showing it off.
