Home sales in Redding and the greater Shasta region were off pace in November. That’s a typical pattern. And home sales often get slower yet in the period between Thanksgiving and New Years. Just like the chill in the weather.
Below, the numbers behind the chart. Only 148 homes sold last month in the area roughly defined as from Shingletown to Whiskeytown, and from Lake California to Lakehead. So inventory is up.
We definitely feel it. That said, we often remind sellers that you don’t know where or when your buyer will arrive. The Redding area home market flow is random enough that you may be equally likely to sell any time of year, despite the seasonality cycles.
Just a reminder that we list homes for 1%. Listing services start at $495. We are a different business model than other brokerages around here. We offer no-compromise home sales services, while letting sellers keep more of their money. We have a great track record of success, and real testimonials from real people. Who do you know that needs to sell their home in the Redding area?
